§ Mr. Colin Shepherdasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received about the value of prizes set out in subsection (7) of section 11 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976; and whether he will now make a statement.
§ Mr. WhitelawI have received representations from societies and local authorities to the effect that the monetary limits for lotteries promoted by them are now too low. I have therefore made an order doubling them with effect from 1 July.
