§ Mr. Durantasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is yet able to announce the future membership of the Inland Waterways Authority advisory council on which all current appointments expire at the end of 1981.
§ Mr. Giles ShawAppointments to the council have now been made for a further two year period. I have decided to extend membership to 14 to enable the council to further develop its role as a representative body for those interested in the recreational use of inland waterways. I have retained Mr. Wain as chairman and appointed four new members representing further angling, boating, boat-building and environmental interests.
