§ Mrs. ChalkerDue to the effects of industrial action the latest figures available relate to 12 February 1981. On that date 65,300 unemployed claimants in Scotland had exhausted their entitlement to unemployment benefit. This figure was 23.9 per cent. of the total number of unemployed claimants in Scotland at that time.
