§ Mr. WigginThe Meteorological Office at Bracknell has a computer programme for predicting plume trajectory and dispersion in the event of a radiation accident or other release of toxic fumes. Each nuclear facility is equipped with meteorological instrumentation and is linked to the nearest main Meteorological Office. These offices are at Cardiff, London Heathrow airport, Manchester airport, Pitreavie, Prestwick and Upavon. The procedures are practised regularly.
