§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he received the Greenwich and Bexley area health authority's proposals to reduce the level of minor surgery at St. Nicholas hospital, Plumstead; and when he expects to reach a decision.
§ Dr. VaughanOn 2 November 1981 the Department received a proposal from South-East Thames regional health authority to maintain day surgery at St. Nicholas hospital at its present level rather than to increase it as previously agreed. We hope to make a decision early in the new year.
