§ Mr. MellorMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy has today granted the Midlands Electricity Board the various statutory authorisations needed to proceed with construction of its proposed combined heat and power station at Fort Dunlop. The scheme will increase the efficiency of the conversion of primary energy into electricity and heat, and is welcomed by the Government.
