§ Mr. Peter MorrisonA reduction in adult unemployment in the North of England, as in the country as a whole, will depend primarily on the ability of firms to produce goods and services which people in this country and abroad want to buy and at prices they are prepared to pay. The Government's policies are aimed at reducing inflation and developing a sound and competitive economy which will help such firms to create the jobs we all want to see.
