What total tonnage of petroleum products and lubricating oil was used in the United Kingdom in the calendar year 1980,and what total tonnages of petroleum products and lubricating oil were used respectively by the Royal Navy, the Royal Army and the Royal Air Force.

Total deliveries of petroleum products for inland consumption in the United Kingdom in 1980 were 71,177,000 tonnes including 896,000 tonnes of lubricating oils. These figures include deliveries to the Armed Services.

Consumption of liquid fuels in the UK by the three Services during 1980 was as follows:—

Army 210,000
Royal Air Force 1,006,000
TOTAL 1,459,000

The figures exclude lubricating oils for which consumption figures are not held centrally.
