§ Mr. BlakerThe Royal Marines garrison on the Falkland Islands will be maintained at its present strength and, until she returns to the United Kingdom next spring, HMS "Endurance" offers a limited military capability in the area. It would not be in the nation's interests to discuss what additional measures might in future be required to maintain our commitment.
