§ 6. Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for Defence if, in view of the number of well-qualified officers and other ranks who, having completed their Territorial Army career, are available for continuing senior reserve service or civil defence management and training, he has any plans to extend and expand the present unposted list for this purpose.
§ Mr. WigginThere are no plans to change the existing use or purpose of the unposted list for Territorial Army officers. Suitable officers, on completing their TA service, may join the Regular reserve of army officers; and the Government propose to make it possible for suitably experienced TA soldiers to volunteer for a period of reserve service.
