§ Mr. BlakerNo. The negotiations are concerned with the long-range, land-based theatre nuclear forces of the United States and the Soviet Union. They will therefore cover neither the United Kingdom Polaris force nor its successor Trident, which are sea-based strategic deterrent systems.
