§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in view of the difficulties encountered by the Office of Fair Trading in being voluntarily furnished with all the necessary information by the British Antique Dealers Association and the Society of London Art Dealers for the purpose of investigation into the alleged collusion by Christie's and Sotheby's in connection with the introduction in 1975 of the buyers' premium, he will make it his policy not to regard the British Antique Dealers Association and the Society of London Art Dealers as representatives of the fine art and antique trade for consultative purposes.
§ Mr. ChannonNo. I see no grounds for changing the normal processes of consultation with the trade.
