§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 3 December 1981, Vol. 14, c. 184] Between May 1979 and November 1981 the numbers registered as unemployed in the Wolverhampton travel-to-work area and the West Midlands region increased by 194.6 per cent. and 190.7 per cent., respectively. The figures on which the increase is based include school leavers and are not seasonally adjusted.
