§ 36. Mr. Radiceasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he is satisfied with the effectiveness of industrial and regional policy in the Northern region.
§ Mr. MacGregorA substantial range of policies is available to assist industrial regeneration in the Northern region. When the final stage of the Government's regional policy decisions is implemented on 1 August 1982, the more selective approach will give even greater priority to the needs of the North.
