§ Mr. Norman LamontI have received and considered the information provided by the hon. Member. Decisions about component sourcing—referred to in the article which he sent me—are for BL to take, and I cannot comment on the detailed allegations. As for investment by BL in subsidiary and ancillary motor vehicle companies, all BL's proposals for investment are contained in its annual five-year corporate plans which are submitted to the Government. In addition, BL seeks specific approval for major investment programmes.
