§ Mr. MacGregorThe Government operate a wide range of business incentive schemes, including measures to assist small businesses and to encourage the use of high technology. I have taken steps to monitor these as much as is feasible, and generally I am encouraged by the level of interest shown and take-up of the schemes. It is important however that we should do everything we can to increase awareness of the full range of assistance available, which is the purpose of the business opportunities programme.
