§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has made representations to the United States' Government, orally or by letter, in the last six months, to seek action by the United States' Government to introduce legislation to prohibit States in the United States of America taxing British companies operating in such states by unitary tax on a world-wide reporting basis; and if he will make a statement on representations he has received from British companies on this subject during the last two years.
