§ Mr. Freesonasked the Lord Privy Seal when he expects the High Commission in Bombay to reach a decision on the application for an entry clearance certificate by Mrs. Jathiben Patel to join her son Mr. N. Patel of 30 Helena Road NW 10; and if he will take steps to ensure a speedy decision in view of the fact that Mrs. Patel was interviewed on 12 May and is 73 years old.
§ Mr. LuceThe entry clearance officer decided, after interviewing the applicant on 12 May, that he would have to make further local inquiries. As soon as these are completed and he has taken a decision, I shall write to the right hon. Member.
