asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what information his Department has made publicly available regarding the latest date for claiming eligibility to earnings-related supplements to national insurance benefits. the number of dependants on supplementary benefits in 1970, 1974, 1979 and the latest available date for the Birkenhead area; and if he will classify this information according to whether the claimant was (i) unemployed, (ii) sick, (iii) one-parent family, (iv) retired or (v) other.
