§ Mr. PattieAbout 4 per cent. of United Kingdom-based MOD civilian personnel are employed on non-nuclear arms related research in the establishments for which controller R & D establishments and research is responsible. It is not our policy to release details of staff employed on nuclear research for reasons of security, but the figure is very small compared with the figure of 4 per cent.
