When they propose to issue to the local authority associations a consultation paper on housing subsidy for 1982–83.

My right honourable friends the Secretary of State for the Environment and the Secretary of State for Wales have issued a consultation paper today. It concerns the Government's proposals for calculating the increase which local authorities will be expected to find from local sources in arriving at their entitlement to housing subsidy for 1982–83. Copies of the paper have been placed in the Printed Paper Office and in the Libraries of both Houses.
