§ Mrs. Chalker[pursuant to her reply, 23 November 1981, Vol. 13 c. 308]: Due to the industrial action in the Civil Service earlier this year, the detailed accounting processes for girocheques issued by the Department of Employment and by this Department, which included a facility for identifying individual girocheques, had to be suspended. The normal arrangements have been resumed.
