§ Mr. Neil MartenI refer my hon. Friend to the reply given on 31 July.—[Vol. 9, c.576.] Since that reply, the £5 million grant for purchase of goods from Britain, to benefit Baluchistan, has been the subject of a formal exchange of letters. As a result of the grant, work has started on extension of electricity transmission lines between Qila Saifullah and Zhob—formerly Fort Sandeman—in northern Baluchistan. My officials are exploring the possibility of supporting new projects in Baluchistan.
