§ Mr. Mylesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list in tabular form the historic rights of other European States within the United Kingdom's 12-mile limits in the various fisheries around British coasts for the years 1972 and 1980.
§ Mr. Buchanan-Smith"Historic rights" are generally considered to be those granted under the London Convention of 1964 to fish between 6 and 12 miles of baselines. A list showing rights granted under this convention in British waters has been placed in the Library of the House. The list is valid for both 1972 and 1980.
