§ Sir George YoungThis report is mainly a retrospective review of the committee's activities in 1979–80 and an indication of issues which it might pursue in the 12 months which began last July. As the report makes clear, the committee offers advice to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and my right hon. Friend at any time through the year when it wishes to do so.
