§ Mr. HeseltineThe chief executive of the Manchester city council wrote to the chairman of the grants working group on 13 April about the grant related expenditure assessments (GRE's) used in the rate support grant settlement for 1981–82. A reply will be sent as soon as possible, and I shall arrange for the right hon. Member to receive a copy.
