§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe National Building Agency has been commissioned to report on the claims submitted by Welwyn Hatfield district council and other authorities for grant under section 10 towards the cost of remedial work. Its final report is due by May next year and my right hon. Friend aims to reach a settlement as soon as possible thereafter. He is also considering separately the question of assistance in cases where demolition of former new town housing is more economic than repair, and hopes to take a decision on this aspect shortly.
