§ Mr. RossiThe Government remain committed to their objective of a coherent system of benefits for disabled people. When developing our plans we shall take account of the views of the Disablement Income Group and of other organisations concerned for the welfare of disabled people. As we have made clear, however, resources are not available for any new benefits at present.
