§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the series of mistakes and errors of judgment made by the Director of Public Prosecutions as witnessed by the latest example of the commencement of prosecutions against the alleged Bristol rioters and the eventual withdrawal of the case at a cost to the taxpayer of £500,000, he will now dismiss the Director of Public Prosecutions.
