§ Mr. Michael RobertsOutdoor centres are maintained by every local education authority in Wales. Information about the number of places available yearly is not kept centrally. In 1978, however, 19 outdoor centres offered a total of 598 places. Two centres with a total capacity of 56 places have since been closed.
