§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish his estimates, for Great Britain, for both 1980–81 and 1981–82, of (i) mortgage tax relief per mortgagor and per owner-occupied dwelling, (ii) mortgage tax relief plus option mortgage subsidy per mortgagor and per owner-occupied dwelling, (iii) Exchequer subsidy per local authority dwelling, (iv) Exchequer subsidy plus rate fund contribution, or minus housing revenue account contribution to rate fund, per local authority dwelling, (v) Exchequer subsidy per public sector dwelling, and (vi) Exchequer subsidy plus rate fund contribution, or minus housing revenue account contribution to rate fund, per public sector dwelling.
§ Mr. StanleyCurrent estimates as regards local authority dwellings for England are as follows:
1980–81 1981–82 £ £ Exchequer subsidy per local authority dwelling 286 174 Exchequer subsidy plus RFC or minus HRA contribution to rate fund per local authority dwelling 370 234 It is not possible to provide comparable estimates for public sector dwellings as a whole.
