§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what child dependency additions to short-term social security benefits would be for November 1981 if the value of (a) November 1977 and (b) April 1979 had been maintained; and what the cost would be of raising the additions to these levels.
§ Mrs. ChalkerIf the child dependency additions had moved in line with the retail price index to November 1980 and the Industry Act forecast to November 1981 and taking no account of increases in child benefit, the values, and net cost, after savings on supplementary benefit, would be:
