§ Mr. John H. Osbornasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the metropolitan district of Sheffield city council has now set a budget for 1981–82 in line with the Government targets.
On present evidence before me, it would appear that its budget will be significantly above Government guidelines. Its net current expenditure is budgeted to be £15 million in excess of its volume target of £140 million, both at November 1980 prices.
