§ Mr. Arnoldasked the Lord Privy Seal whether he is satisfied that the recent acceptance by the Crown Agents, acting for and on behalf of the Indonesian authorities, of the Sulzer Bros. (UK) tender, as amended, for the two generators for Bali power station meets the criteria set out in the original enquiry document for the purpose of attracting British aid funds in respect of the total of offshore costs.
§ Mr. LuceMy hon. Friend will be aware from his meetings and correspondence with my hon. Friends the Minister for Overseas Development and the Minister of State, Department of Industry on this subject, that our normal procedures have been followed in this case. However, very urgent consideration is being given to points which he has raised, and a reply will be provided as soon as possible.
