§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he intends to take following the report from the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants on the special voucher scheme in India; and if he will make a statement about the report.
§ Mr. RaisonWe have no present plans for action following the report, but its detailed recommendations on the administration of the scheme are being studied. The allocation of vouchers to particular countries, including India, is kept under review.
