§ Sir Geoffrey HoweNo arrangements have been made by Inland Revenue to enable individuals and organisations to pay their taxes directly to the Treasury. The attention of the larger payers has been drawn to the existing transfer credit facilities, which are available to all taxpayers.
Customs and Excise have been in touch with certain companies direct about the way in which they should make their payments. Others should continue to send in the amounts due from them in the normal way.
