§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Attorney-General whether he will prosecute the magazine "Stormer" under section 5 of the Public Order Act 1936 as amended by section 70 of the Race Relations Act 1976.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI have seen a copy of this particularly unpleasant publication and have forwarded it immediately to the Director of Public Prosecutions for police inquiries to be made into its authorship, publication and distribution. In due course the Director will consider the result of those inquiries and will decide whether or not he wishes to seek my consent to prosecute any person or persons for offences contrary to section 5A of the Public Order Act 1936.
