The Solicitor-GeneralThe recommendations of the Pearson Commission fall within the responsibilities of the Lord Chancellor's Department, the Secretary of State for Social Services, and the Minister of Transport. So far as regards those within the responsibility of the Lord Chancellor's Department, there are no immediate plans for implementation.
