§ Mr. Jim Lester[pursuant to his reply, 27 October 1980, c. 140]: The following table gives the numbers registered as unemployed and the numbers of notified vacancies remaining unfilled in Great Britain, analysed by each order of the standard industrial classification 1968. The information is for August 1980, the latest date for which an industrial analysis is available. The unemployment figures 279W relate to the industry in which the unemployed person last worked.
