§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimI understand that the Director General of Fair Trading is considering a reference to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission of the supply of reading lenses and spectacle frames in relation to restrictions on price display and advertising, although he is awaiting the General Optical Council's review of its rules before reaching a final decision as to whether any further action might be appropriate.
