§ 4. Mr. Banksasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he intends to raise the subject of NATO action to counter the Soviet threat of chemical weapons at the next NATO Ministers' meeting.
§ Mr. PymNATO Ministers will discuss a wide range of current defence issues in December at the next meeting of the defence planning committee. They are already keenly aware of the threat posed by the Soviet Unions' massive chemical weapon capability, and programmes are in hand to improve NATO's chemical weapon defences.
