HC Deb 27 October 1980 vol 991 cc104-5W
Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) whether, in view of the outstanding stone carving on the building, he will now list the Guildhall School of Music in order to avoid further damage to buildings of architectural merit in London;

(2) whether he will consider the need to list the Hoover factory in West London as one of the outstanding examples of art deco industrial architecture in Great Britain.

Mr. Monro:

My right hon. Friend announced on 14 October that he had added the Guildhall School of Music and the Hoover factory to the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest.
