HC Deb 27 October 1980 vol 991 cc189-90W
Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) on what basis his Department fixed the price of £8 for the Report "Inequalities in Health"; and if he asked Her Majesty's Stationary Office to quote for the work;

(2) how many copies of the report "Inequalities in Health" have been made available to date; and if these meet the number of requests for copies.

Mr. Patrick Jenkin:

One thousand copies of this report, printed by Her Majesty's Stationery Office but published by my Department, have so far been made available. Apart from a few days when stocks ran out, all pre-paid requests have been, and will continue to be, met without delay. Copies are available in the Vote Office for Hon. Members. The price was set to cover the cost of printing by Her Majesty's Stationery Office and publication by my Department.
