28Wfer tax since 1 April, and it in listing them he will give (a) the amounts of tax satisfied in each case and (b) whether any offers of objects accepted carried conditions as to destination.
§ Mr. St. John-Stevas:Since 1 April 1980 the following property has been accepted, with the agreement of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and myself, in satisfaction of estate duty or capital transfer tax:
abolition in the collection or publication of statistics or reports by his Department since May 1979, indicating if such information is available from any other source; and what financial savings have been made by any such changes.
§ Mr. Rossi:In Northern Ireland, the Department of Education's annual school leaver survey was cancelled for 1979, saving £8,000; and the annual census of employment, conducted by the Department of Manpower Services, has been cancelled for 1979 and 1980, saving £73,000 per annum. Since 1979, statistics produced by the Department of Finance in the annual report of proceedings under the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 1964 have been rationalised and the Department of Environment's biannual publication of the Digest of Housing Statistics has been superseded by an annual publication, Northern Ireland Housing Statistics.
