§ Mr. AlisonA refresher course in obstetrics is organised once a year by the Northern Ireland Council for Post Graduate Medical Education, but the main method for continuing education for general practitioners in obstetrics is by attachments of approximately two weeks' duration to a consultant obstetric unit. These attachments can be arranged at any time throughout the year in most units.
