§ Mr. YoungerMy right hon. Friends and I are considering the outcome of the review of the economic situation in hill farming in the United Kingdom which has been carried out by our Departments in consultation with the National Farmers Unions; we hope to make an announcement about the rates for 1981 very soon. The maximum amounts payable are £60 per cow and £9 per ewe, subject to an overall maximum payment of £60 per hectare.
