§ 22. Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what his policy is towards the establishment of voluntary schools in areas where it can be shown that there is sufficient demand for them.
§ Dr. BoysonAny proposal to establish a voluntary school requires the approval of my right hon. and learned Friend under section 13 of the Education Act 1980. Each proposal must be decided on its merits and evidence of demand would be one of a number of factors he would take into account.
