§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will circulate in the Official Report figures showing for 1979 and the estimate for 1980 of (a) Government final consumption expenditure, (b) private final consumption expenditure and (c) gross fixed capital formation in terms of 1975 prices and on the definition given in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development national accounts, volume 1.
§ Mr. BiffenThe definitions are very close to the United Kingdom national income definition of (a) general Government final consumption, (b) consumers' expenditure and (c) gross fixed capital formation. Figures for 1979 and estimates for 1980 are being published today in a Treasury press notice.
