asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received from the Disablement Income Group about further cuts in public expenditure; and what reply he is sending to its recent telegram to him.

[pursuant to his reply, 12 November 1980, c. 255]: No representations have hitherto been made to me or to my right hon. Friend by the Disablement Income Group about cuts in public expenditure. I have, however, taken note of the group's recent telegram about abatement of invalidity benefits. A reply is being sent.
