asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what representations he has received from the Disablement In- come Group about further cuts in public expenditure; and what reply he is sending to its recent telegram.

[pursuant to his reply, 12 November 1980, c. 235]: Both the Chief Secretary and I have received telegrams from the Disablement Income Group about the social security provisions for disabled people. The Chief Secretary has replied to these telegrams and I shall let the right hon. Member have a copy of his letter.
